However, if you make your own, the only expense is the paper. You can find packs of card stock that will make dozens of boxes for the same or cheaper than a single store bought box.
5. Making your own gift boxes means you can use the template over and over. With store bought boxes, you will have to buy a new box every time you need a gift box. While you will probably need a new box even if you make your own, when you have your own template, you can easily make the same box over and over. This is especially cost saving when you are making a unique shape or decorated box.
